The trailer of Saif Ali Khan`s upcoming film Laal Kaptaan was launched by the makers on Tuesday. Saif Ali Khan plays a Naga Sadhu for the Navdeep Singh directorial. A day after sharing the new poster of Laal Kaptaan, the makers dropped the first trailer of the much-anticipated film. The 1-minute-22-second trailer begins with Saif talking about life and death. "Aadmi ke paida hote hi, kaal apne bhainse pe baith ke chal padhta hai use vaapis laane. Aadmi ki jindagi utni, jitna samay laga bhainse ko us tak pohonchne,"  The trailer shows Saif Ali Khan as a deadly assassin who is on the hunt for vengeance. Saif Ali Khan is one actor who has been pushing the envelope with each of his films. After his stint with Netflix`s Sacred Games, he is back to his versatile style. He surprised everyone with his menacing act in Omkara, and didn`t hesitate to do a black comedy like Kaalakaandi. Navdeep Singh, who has collaborated with Saif for the first time for a film said, "Laal Kaptaan is that kind of film that is definitely going to generate a genre and narrative style of its own." The film is set to hit the screens on October 18.
