Looks like director Agnidev Chatterjee is on a story-hunting spree. His film based on the Sheena Bora murder incident, Dark Chocolate, is up for release and the director has already started working on his next, which is based on the Ishrat Jahan encounter case.  agnidev says, "My next film Fidayeen, which will be a mix of Bengali and Hindi, is based on the sensational Ishrat Jahan encounter case. The film documents the entire episode -from crossing over of the terrorist through the border in Rajasthan, the failed assassination attempt and finally whether the encounter was real or not." Although a love story , the film is a brutal narrative of how an innocent middle-class girl is brainwashed into becoming a terrorist and how she sacrifices her life for the man she loved more than herself. When we asked the director why his latest films are inspired by real-life incidents, he said, "Retelling real-life tales gives me a creative high. Moreover, terrorism is an important contemporary issue."While fresh faces are being searched for the film, a supporting cast including Rituparna Sengupta, Rohit Roy , Rajesh Sharma, Debleena Dutt and Rachel White has been shortlisted.
