This puts an end to rumours that  Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone will have a dance-off in `Padmavati`.  The conflict in the plot pivots on the three characters — Rani Padmavati played by Deepika, her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh played by Shahid and Alauddin Khilji played by Ranveer, who falls for Padmavati. Aditi Rao Hydari plays Khilji`s wife. Besides that, there is no other female character."
