The 82-year-old singer, who has dominated the Hindi film music for six decades with her melodious voice, has herself offered to entertain the soldiers with her songs in forward areas.Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju , said that the singer made the offer to him during a function in Maharashtra recently.  Hopefully,  the government could take her to some of the forward border posts in September-October. Asha Bhosle is best known as a playback singer in Hindi cinema. She began singing in 1943 and has spanned over six decades.
