Believe it that the forthcoming `Baaghi` is based on the epic of Ramayana. Director Sabbir Khan   disclosed  this during its promotion  and  surprised  the audience. Sabbir believed   if he  adapted  the Ramayana today, it would  make for an exciting film. It took him nine months to write the script. So, `Baaghi` is  his  version of the Ramayana though  combined with very strong love story and great action! This Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor-starrer is  due to release on  April 29 .  The director  adds  the idea came to him after he watched 2004 Telugu film Varsham on the insistence of producer Sajid Nadiadwala. However, he  does not mind that the audience is more excited about Tiger-Shraddha’s on screen chemistry and the action sequences. After all,  action and music are universal .  But, Sabbir   wants `Baaghi` to be a trend-setter for action movies.
