After the succesful response to  of his  `Bajirao Mastani`,  director Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s   has decided  to make  another  historical  movie. This  will  again be a historical one  based on   Sultan Alauddin Khilji and his obsessive love for  Padmavati.  the queen of Mewar  ( Rajasthan).  Interestingly, Bhansali had earlier helmed an opera on this story, which was screened in Paris and Rome.  So, the  film will be   titled `Padmavati`. Reports indicate that  Sanjay has always loved this romantic tale.   Bhansali considered Sultan Alauddin  as  a  big genius who was shrewd and ambitious too.  The Sultan  was  completely  smitten by queen Padmini`s bewitching beauty and unmatchable intellect. This film will be  about the queen`s courage to fight her undefeated nemesis."
