The film industry is abuzz with reports  that Smita Thackeray, the daughter in law of  is all set to produce a biography on the life of  late Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray. Bollywood is   well versed with Smita . The movie will be  helmed by her son, Rahul Thackeray. Significantly,  Big B has got the majority votes to play the lead, among other contenders that included Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee.  Sources say that  the makers have  already approached Big B for the role but the actor hasn`t given his nod yet.  There is a great feeling that t only  Big B  can essay the role of the late Bal Thackeray. Incidentally, milennium star  Amitabh Bachchan played the intrepid politician in Ram Gopal Varma`s `Sarkar` which was said  to be loosely based on the life of  Shiv Sena supremo !Balasaheb Thackeray. However, the film`s release put rumours to rest and it was seen that the story was quite different.
