Bollywood veteran star Sunny Deol’s sequel ‘Border 2’ teaser is out. The audience is raving about his dialogue sequence. Director Anurag Singh thanked Varun Dhawan for the hit dialogues. 

In the film, Lieutenant Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler, played by Sunny Deol, asks, ‘Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?’ And the soldiers respond with ‘Lahore tak.’

The film ‘Border 2’ stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and more. At the teaser launch, all of them were present with T-Series head and film producer Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta and director Anurag Singh. ‘Border 2’ will be released on 23rd January 2026 and is already being touted as the biggest release of 2026.

Director Anurag Singh said at the launch, “We were shooting in NDA (National Defence Academy) at the parade ground. An instructor was training some cadets, and he felt that they were not being energetic. He asked them, “Awaaz kyun nahin nikal rahi tumhari? Yeh awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?'. All the 50-100 cadets screamed in unison, 'Lahore tak'!” 

That caught the film crew's attention. The instructor said that’s the way the call is. Varun immediately told Anurag that the call line was great and should be included in the film. Varun credits director Anurag for being spontaneous and not only agreeing to use the call line but also putting it in the teaser. He then persuaded Sunny. Varun says he had goosebumps when the NDA trainer called out the line 'Awaaz (Labore) pahuch hi gayi hogi'!”
