The list of 28 cuss words that the Censor Board chairman Pahlaj Nihalani had ordered banned from films, has been put on hold after a meeting held on February 23. A circular issued earlier, listed 28 words in Hindi and English that the chairman had found objectionable and abusive. Various debates followed, questioning the decision or justifying it. In the meeting on the issue, many members of the Censor Board disagreed and the ban has been put on hold.
