Bollywood film `Piku – Motion Se Hi Emotion` was given unprecedented relief by Delhi High Court on May 1 by issuing restraining order against websites and cable operators from streaming, broadcasting or providing online access to the film without permission. The movie directed by Shoojit Sircar stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. It releases on May 8. Justice Indermeet Kaur issued the interim injunction saying producer may otherwise suffer irreparable damages. ISPs and phone companies have been asked to block access to the infringing websites mentioned. Producers sought protection from the court against piracy of its movie saying that revenues are earned in the first week of the movie`s release and that is when instances of copyright infringement and piracy of the film occur.
