Bollywood is reportedly coughing up Rupees 20 crores to cricket superstar Mahendra Singh Doni for a biopic on his life. 2014 has seen more sports biopics than ever. Dhoni announced his retirement from Test cricket. Buzz is that Dhoni has already been paid Rs 20 crore for the rights to his life story. And given the curiosity among film buyers and industry in general, looks like Dhoni is still a brand name that sells off field. Dhoni will also get additional share in the film`s profits and royalties. Neeraj Pandey has scripted the biopic and he is currently finishing the writing bit. The film will trace the life and time of World Cup winning captain on field and reveal some interesting things about his personal life.
