Diwali bonus for KABALI viewers
Several companies in Chennai and Bengaluru in India have declared paid holiday on July 22, the day Rajnikanth ’s `Kabali` is releasing. This followed after employees from various companies planned to go on mass sick leave (or simply switch off their phones) to catch the first day first show of their favourite star’s film. So, companies that include Bangalore-based Opus Waterproofing and Chennai-based Fyndus India Pvt Ltd volunteered to keep their offices closed. Interestingly, some are ready to provide free tickets, apparently in a bid to contain piracy since CBFC chief has expressed concern over reports of `Kabali` leak. The movie is directed by Pa Ranjith, where Rajinikanth plays a gangster who fights for equal pay for Tamils in Malaysia.
