Bollywood starlet Alia Bhatt is upset over Doordarshan not telecasting her popular film `Highway`. Buzz is that Censor had initially objected to Imtiaz Ali`s `Highway` owing to its reference to child sexual abuse. Alia`s character, Veera, was shown to be sexually abused by her uncle at a young age. The actor feels that speaking up about such issues is the need of the hour. Alia admits that Doordarshan may be sensitive as it caters to a family audience but she believes that child sexual abuse does occur in society. So, every child, girl or boy, should know how to protect themselves.
