There is a good news that an Oscar nomination  for portraying Queen Victoria in the 1997 historical drama “Mrs. Brown,” British actress Judi Dench will once again star as Queen Victoria in a film based on Indo-British authorShrabani Basu’s book, “Victoria & Abdul: The True Story of the Queen’s Closest Confidant.” The book, which  is based on the true story, was released about six years ago. This  captures the relationship between the British monarch and her trusted Indian aide, Abdul Karim, in the late 1800s. Award-winning filmmaker Stephen Frears, whom Dench has worked with in “Mrs. Henderson Presents” and “Philomena,” will direct the film titled, “Victoria and Abdul.”Basu  , the London-based journalist and author of books like “Spy Princess” and “For King and Another Country,” ais very excited that the book goes out into the world  taking  it to an even wider audience.” The film  is expected to begin later this year for a 2017 release.
