It is reliably learnt that filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has begun work on his next venture – Sanjay Dutt`s biopic. The film that will see Ranbir Kapoor essaying the role of Bollywood`s bad boy, will have a number of famous faces as part of the project. The latest addition to the star cast happens to be one of Sanjay’s earlier co-stars, Manisha Koirala. The actress has been roped in to play Dutt`s mother Nargis. This is to recall that Koirala had been Bollywood`s one time top actress. Director Hirani revealed that since Manisha is a cancer survivor and had lived through the trying times, she would be able to “identify with Nargis` fight” against the dreaded disease. The actress also happens to have been treated at the same cancer facility in New York where Nargis was treated. The biopic is expected to hit theaters  at the fag-end of 2017.
