About 400 auto drivers have grouped to turn filmmakers. Each driver has invested anywhere between Rs 1,000 and Rs 2 lakh.  They are managing multiple `in-branding` ;  spending Rs 2 crore on the film that stars Aru Gowda (of the  `Muddu Manase` fame). The film is directed by AR Shan (son of veteran director AR Babu). With script in hand, Shan narrated it to `Auto` Nagaraj (known in Sandalwood circles, as not just an auto driver, but a film publicist as well).  For Auto Nagaraj, it was also a dream come true. He said : I have been an auto driver for the last 15 years. I wanted to become an actor and so developed contacts with many film personalities I managed to get a few bit roles in films.   Every day we hear about a realtor becoming a film producer or a software engineer becoming a director or actor. Then why not auto drivers who are the first people to watch Kannada movies when they release.  He believes  they will soon have  the best professionals in  their  technical team including music by Kaushik Harsha, cinematography by Guru Prashanth Rai, lyrics by V Nagendra Prasad and editing by KM Prakash.
