Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s magnum opus `Bajirao Mastani` that is all set to hit the theatres  on Friday, December 18, 2015 , seems to have run into  rough weather  in Pakistan. The film, which depicts the life of Maratha warrior king Bajirao Peshwa and stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, has failed to get a no objection certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) of Pakistan. Reports say that   Mobasher Hasan, the chairman of the CBFC stated that the film is in Hindi, and per their ordinance, Hindi films cannot be screened. Adding to it, he said that the historical drama is indirectly against Islam and Muslims, since it explores the relationship between Bajirao Peshwa and his Muslim wife Mastani. While there were speculations that the film was banned because of certain dialogues and intimate scenes, Hasan clarified that reasons for not allowing the release of the film weren`t  as given above.  Incidentally,  Shah Rukh Khan`s `Diwale` starring himself and Kajol  has been approved for release in Pakistan.
