Rahul Bhat denies playing politicians
Bollywood buzz is that actor Rahul Bhat is portraying two different politicians in his two upcoming films. But, the actor completely denies that the two characters are inspired from real life politicians - Rahul Gandhi or Bilawal Bhutto. He admits that he is playing a politician`s son in Sudhir Mishra`s next, Aur Devdas, which is based out of Uttar Pradesh. But it`s not Rahul Gandhi. The film is a modern take on Devdas, who in real life happens to be the son-in-law of a veteran politician. And strangely, people are comparing him to Bilawal Bhutto in his other film, in which he plays a Pakistani politician`s heir apparent. Bhat will be seen sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif in this Abhishek Kapoor directed movie. The actor agrees that people will draw parallels. Anyway, he is very happy with the present phase in life; his recently released `Ugly` got critical acclaim and brought several good film offers. Eight years ago, he quit acting because of lack of good work. He was also alleged to have used expired arms licenses in Jodhpur during the shooting of `Hum Saath Saath Hain` along with Salman Khan.
