Salman accused of cheating
Mohammad Sabir Ansari alias Sabir Baba, a resident of Muzaffarpur has accused Bollywood actor Salman Khan of cheating and criminal intimidation and filed a case in Muzaffarpur (Bihar). The complainant claims that he narrated his story to Salman Khan in 2010 and the Bollywood star promised to give him Rs 20 crore as royalty if a film was ever made on the story. Salman’s Sultan co-star Anushka Sharma and the film’s director Ali Abbas Zafar have also been named in the case that has filed under various sections of IPC including 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation). You may recall that Salman is seen playing a Haryanvi wrestler who struggles to get back in the ring. Anushka plays his love interest while Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh back them up in pivotal roles. Directed by Abbas Ali Zafar, Sultan was made on an estimated budget of Rs 90 crore and released worldwide on July 6. Now, the hearing is fixed for July 26.
