Bollywood super duper star Salman Khan has his fate hanging in the balance as the Sessions Court will on May 6 pronounce the judgment in the 13-year-old hit-and-run case. The judge DW Deshpande, presiding over the case since 2013, declared the date on April 21 after the defence and the prosecution concluded their final arguments. Ravidra Patil, Salman Khan`s former bodyguard, who was also the complainant in the case, had stated that Salman was in an inebriated condition when he rammed his Toyota Land Cruiser into a bakery in suburban Bandra on September 28, 2002, killing one and injuring four others. Claiming that the mishap was a pure accident, Salman Khan`s lawyer, Shrikant Shivade said a tyre burst, which led to the accident, was not in anybody`s control. The actor`s driver, Ashok Singh also claimed that he was behind the wheel at the night of the accident.
