Bollywood super duper star Salman Khan is in major legal trouble as a Sessions court on March 24 asked him to attend a hearing in the 2002 hit-and-run case on March 27 and record his statement on the evidence presented by the prosecution. The actor will get the chance to tell his side of the story as the trial enters its final stages. Judge D W Deshpande will also get an opportunity to question Salman on aspects of the trial. Salman`s statement will be recorded under section 313 (power to examine the accused) of the Criminal Procedure Code. Salman did not attend March 24 hearing, and only his sister, Alvira, was present in the courtroom.
