Bollywood Director-producer Karan Johar`s ambitious project `Shuddhi` has faced several roadblocks. Initially, Hrithik Roshan was supposed to play the lead role. Finally, the role went to Karan`s friend Salman Khan. Salman`s dates seem to be full till 2016 following the Dabangg Khan`s big releases in the coming years. Shuddhi` is based on the novel `Immortals of Meluha` and is Salman`s first full-fledged film with Karan Johar. Both Salman and Karan have shown interest in working with each other in the past and with `Shuddhi` their wish finally comes true. Salman films are blockbusters, Karan wants `Shuddhi` to release during Diwali in 2016.
