Bollywood`s latest flick released on Feb 19 titled `Neerja` is the  real life stoy of the  brave hearted 23 year young  daughter  of a Mumbai- based journalist  Harish Bhanot. Played by none other than the rising star Sonam Kapoor she was  known as as Laddo by her parents,  mother Rama played by Shabana Azmi  and father Harish byYogendra Tiku.   Quite like her screen idol,  late Rajesh Khanna starring in ` Anand` , the spirited Laddo  named Neerja Neerja by wants to live `a big  life  though not a long one. Besides  her modelling assignments, Neerja loves to fly. She is lucky to get emplyed by Pan Am airlines. One fateful day, the plane is hijacked by Libyan terrorists when it makes a halt at Karachi. The spunky stewardess warns the pilots in the cockpit about the hijack. But, she stays back to shield the passengers. The picture is excellent inasmuch as  its  actors  play their real  life characters ;  Neerja by Sonam Kapoor. The movie buffs say that Sonam has done her best in her  filmi career. She  is  dignified, strong and real. Shabana as the bereaved mother  isn`t far behind ; she makes her grief yours. Yogendra Tiku  as father lends able support and Khalil played by  Jim Sarbh  as the maniacal terrorist.  Ram Madhvani  as director  proves his with his deft story-telling.
