Bollywood dream girl and member of India`s Parliament Hema Malini roped in several film stars from Jeetendra, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Govinda to Jaya Prada for the Sri Krishna Mahotsav in Mathura. The money collected from the event with 10,000 guests will be sent to the families of the farmers who either committed suicide or to those who suffered damage of crops in the Braj area. Hema Malini was earlier criticized by her constituents for her absence for quite some time. She performed a Krishna Leela at the Chandrodaya temple ground where the world`s largest temple is under construction. The Krishna Mahotsav threw light on the construction of the 70-feet tall temple ahead of the commencement of the event.  Host Sonu Sood arrived in a maroon suit as Krishna on the stage. The actor was later joined by Huma Qureshi and Sargun Mehta, as he kept looking for his Radha in the holy city. From learning latkas and jhatkas like a girl from Parineeti Chopra, charkula dance from a folk dancer, and singing from Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu did all he could to find his Radha throughout the event. While Sargun Mehta and Huma Qureshi turned down his offer, the actor did not lose hope and took the function to a successful conclusion. Significant was that Parineeti Chopra was welcomed with a loud cheer as she descended on the stage in an open palki.
