Bollywood fans have anxiously the film ‘Swayambhu’ a period epic that centres around the Sengol bestowed on Hindu God Lord Ram to govern and rule by dharma. ‘Swayambhu’ teaser just released gives a glimpse into this historic saga with a lot of symbolism and large-scale action. Based on Indian history and symbolism, ‘Swayambhu’ is visually expansive and an emotionally driven cinematic experience. The film is led by Nikhil Siddhartha playing the fearless and virtuous warrior. The teaser shows that the film is of grand scale, blending history, spirituality and action, with the Sengol — an ancient sacred sceptre — forming the narrative’s core. ‘Swayambhu’ cast features Karthikeya, Samyuktha, Nabha Natesh, and Nawab Shah in pivotal roles. Set during India’s golden era, is a world shaped by power struggles, invasions, and moral conflict.

The Sengol, a revered symbol of righteous rule, justice and moral authority, is said to have been bestowed upon a ruler as a mark of governance guided by dharma. Fierce battles are fought by rival kingdoms for control over the Sengol, as both a political and spiritual object of power. Nikhil Siddhartha plays the fearless warrior determined to restore balance and righteousness. ‘Swayambhu’ teaser shows elaborate production with grandiose sets, major battle sequences, elaborate production design and expansive landscapes. ‘Swayambhu’ is written and directed by Bharat Krishnamachari. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur, known for his work in KGF and Salaar. Cinematography is by KK Senthil Kumar, whose previous credits include Baahubali and RRR, and editing  by Tammiraju, also associated with the Baahubali franchise. ‘Swayambhu’ is produced by Bhuvan and Shreekar under the Pixel Studios banner.

‘Swayambhu’ will have a wide international release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic. The film is slated for worldwide theatrical release in Summer 2026.
