Bollywood actress Tabu and famous lyricist Gulzar share a special bond. The actress considers the lyricist-poet-filmmaker a father-figure. At the recent `Shamitabh` audio launch, Gulzar pulled her leg and asked her when she would tie the knot, so that he could have the privilege of doing her kanyadaan, that is the traditional giving away of bride at marriage. Tabu sportingly replied that Gulzar should go ahead and do it. Tabu is very choosy star and is known for playing limited but meaningful roles in her movies. She broke hearts in `Maqbool`and then `Haider`. Tabu doesn`t pretend to be anything that she`s not. She`s an actress, a hugely talented one, and she lets her film performances speak for her.
