Bollywood veteran star Anil Kapoor’s film ‘Subedaar’ releases on Amazon Prime Video on 5th March 2026. The Suresh Triveni film stars Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, and Mona Singh.

Anil Kapoor is constantly beating goons, and it seems that this top actor of his time isn’t 

growing older but only getting crisper with his acting and character play. Anil Kapoor plays Subedaar Arjun Maurya. And the trailer is full of action scenes. The movie is about a sand-mafia setup and a powerful dialogue quote, “Fauji hai, seene mein goli jhel sakte hai, beizzati nahi” (end quote). 

The movie is set in the heartland of India, with Anil playing a retired army man finding a fit into civilian life. The illegal sand mining mafia, led by a surprisingly menacing Mona Singh, threatens his family, and the soldier awakens.

Critics see Anil back in a raw, physical role. Also, the ensemble looks great, and the surprise is Radhikka Madan playing his daughter. Their relationship seems to be the emotional anchor of the film.

Mona Singh has transitioned from a mother/sister role into a character that may well bury people in sand! 

Some critics say the trailer is ambitious. A retired officer fighting corruption isn’t ingenious. One has to see how the full movie of Suresh Triveni resonates with the audience. 

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor celebrated his incredible 40-year journey in cinema with the launch of the ‘Subedaar’ trailer at a restobar by the beach in Mumbai. In attendance were actors Radhika Madan, Kushboo Sundar, Mona Singh, Saurabh Shukla, and Aditya Rawal. Joining them were producer Vikram Malhotra and director Suresh Triveni.
