Bollywood`s young actor Varun Dhawan who has so far proved his mettle as a romantic hero, enters another genre. He plays his first grey character in Sriram Raghavan`s `Badlapur`, starring four actresses. `Badlapur` has Varun wearing a rugged look in the revenge drama. Varun enacts very intimate scenes with Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte. Producer Dinesh Vijan is all praise for the two male actors - Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing Raghu and Liak respectively. Another important feature of the movie is that the Censor Board sought certain `cuts`, but  Sriram Raghavan refused to delete any scene and agreed to let the Censor give the movie `A` certificate.
