US Ambassador Eric Garcetti captures his first full & fun year in India |
US Ambassador to India, H.E. Eric Garcetti, has proved his excellent credentials that make him a well-rounded, much-liked and an accomplished top diplomat as he celebrates his first anniversary on assignment. The United States has termed the relationship with India the most pronounced strategic partnership. And, during the past one year Ambassador Garcetti recollects the achievements for which we must give him accolades. In a world fraught with conflicts and chaos, the US and India have carved a good pathway to escalate the necessary strategies and policies while steering clear of controversies. India is a tough partner, and the USA welcomes that, in our opinion. 37 years ago when PIO TV Managing Editor launched global operations from Washington, DC of a major India TV and print news service, there were few ideas of synergy. But, seeing it through a telescope down the century and into the 21st century, it was clear that the world`s biggest and largest democracies would find much overlap than mishap. Ambassador Garcetti could not have taken over this assignment at a better time, but this is also the time to not take it easy. Enjoy this wonderful video the Ambassador and I am sure the Mission help make to mark his first anniversary in India. Not an easy job, yet well done so far! We might as well make a request to Ambassador as a former Mayor of Los Angeles to bring Hollywood closer to Bollywood and push sister cities cooperation on both sides.
