‘Dhadak 2’ trailer launch - an intense with love story |
Karan Johar quips he won’t fight or die for love. ‘Dhadak 2’ trailer was launched in Mumbai by Bollywood’s numero uno producer Karan Jigar, debutant director Shazia Iqbal and lead actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. Billed as a full of love intense drama ‘Dhadak 2’ is backed by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, and release on 1st August 2025. ‘Dhadak 2’ makers say it’s more layered with love and emotions than its prequel way back in 2018. Media couldn’t resist cornering Karan on the occasion. One writer asked him whether he would fight for love or for for it. Karan said “Dekhiye, ye kaisi umar hai meri… na ladne ki, na marne ki. Ye meri jeene ki umar hai aur main bas jiyunga. Ab pyaar ke liye ladne ki energy nahin hai. Jo hona tha woh ho gaya. Ab agar aa jaye toh very good, I will welcome it with open arms, aur nahin aaye toh KBC ki tarah mere paas bhi chaar options hai.” That the feisty, gutsy and quirky Karan has entered a phase of not fighting or dying for love but taking what comes .. had people first bewildered and then laughing. ‘Dhadak 2’ has Siddhant Chaturvedi as Neelesh and Triptii Dimri as Vidhi—two individuals from opposing worlds, bound by longing and courage. ‘Dhadak 2’ isn’t just another Bollywood romance but will break the mold. Produced by Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, Somen Mishra, and Pragati Deshmukh, the film is a collaboration between Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures.
