Dreaded bowler Bumrah back in Indian cricket team |
Indian cricket administrator, BCCI`s selection committee has drafted pacer Jasprit Bumrah by in the team for the T20 Internationals against Sri Lanka and One Day Internationals against Australia. However, new white-ball sensation Deepak Chahar is likely to be out for the next three months due to a back injury. Deepak Chahar has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his lower back. He has started his rehabilitation at the NCA and is expected to regain match fitness by April 2020. Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur will form the pace attack along with Bumrah. The selection committee decided to rest opener Rohit Sharma and pacer Mohammed Shami for the three T20Is against Sri Lanka from January 5 while Shikhar Dhawan comes back from injury and was named in both squads. The talented Sanju Samson has been kept in the T20I side as a backup opener and a cover for Rishabh Pant.
