Bollywood`s dhak-dhak girl Madhuri Dixit-Nene has been appointed the brand ambassador of the Beti-Bachao-Beti-Padhao campaign by the Haryana government. The initiative was launched in Panipat by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state was chosen for the campaign since it has one of most skewed sex ratios in the country. Also present were HRD minister Smriti Irani and Maneka Gandhi, Minister for Women & Child Development.
