Bollywood is venturing into a new genre in 2015. The Censor Board has banned use of cuss and double meaning words, expletives, and violence in films. Critics and producers equally wonder how Bollywood will deal with the release of four erotic films — `Ek Paheli Leela`, `One Night Stand`, `Kamasutra 3D` and `XXX`. Promotions for some of them are underway, and they range from bold to seriously risqué. Filmmakers insist it`s a good time to explore the genre. Ekta Kapoor, who made `Love Sex Aur Dhokha` and the `Ragini MMS `series, believes that people appreciate such content. Another producer who will soon release his `XXX` says erotica is nothing to be ashamed of. Bhushan Kumar of the T series is producing `Ek Paheli Leela`, which stars Sunny Leone in a sensuous role. Bhushan feels a production house cannot afford to make only one kind of genre for all kinds of audience. Many in industry feel that erotica is a fine art, which has clicked with viewers so far. So, there is need for erotic films too but not vulgar ones.
