Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar launched the theme, logo, and website for the Fourth India-Africa Forum Summit (IAFS-IV) that will be held in Delhi 28th through 31st May 2026.

This 4th Summit follows after a gap of nearly 11 years. But during this time, India has championed a new partnership with Africa – to bring the African Union into the powerful G20 grouping and elevate India’s development assistance with African nations. The theme ‘IA Spirit’ says it all – India-Africa Strategic Partnership for Innovation, Resilience and Inclusive Transformation. ‘SPIRIT’ denotes a relationship that goes beyond transactions and is marked by shared values, mutual respect, solidarity and collaboration.

Jaishankar highlighted the more than three million strong Indian diaspora across Africa as a living bridge between the societies, strengthening economic ties and deepening cultural understanding.
