Viswas Raghavan, an Indian-origin banker who heads JP Morgan`s investment banking business in Europe, has been elevated as deputy CEO, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mumbai-educated Raghavan, 48 years old, is seen as a rising star in the investment bank. Raghavan will become the deputy CEO for EMEA. Raghavan joined JP Morgan from Lehman Brothers in 2000. He is a BSc in Physics from Mumbai University and a postgraduate in electronic engineering and computer science from the Aston University UK.
