Delhi–Mumbai Expressway to Connect with Noida International Airport at Jewar
Indian capital Delhi’s second international airport at Jewar in NOIDA is being elevated to a major transport and connectivity hub. The Cabinet of Ministers of the government of India has approved a revised capital cost of Rs 3,630.77 crore, or US dollars 400 million, to construct a 31.42 km greenfield connectivity corridor linking the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar with the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway network. This will serve as a huge boost to logistics across the National Capital Region (NCR). This will fund construction of a high-speed corridor connecting the Delhi–Faridabad–Ballabhgarh–Sohna spur of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway to the Jewar airport. This will link South Delhi, Faridabad, and Gurugram to the upcoming airport, improving regional mobility and supporting economic activity across the NCR.
