‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ trailer released in Vrindavan |
Bollywood’s big animated film ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ trailer saw an emotional and mega launch in Vrindavan, the holy city of Lord Krishna. ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ is the story when Lord Vishnu too the avatar of Narsimha (half man and half lion) to eliminate the demon Hiranyakashipu. The film is the first Ina series called the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. Director Ashwin Kumar producer Shilpaa Dhawan picked the launch ceremony to be held at a special satsang of Indresh Ji Maharaj at Fogla Asharam. Director Ashwin hailed the effort to spread the name and noble deeds of God to all. He says a cinema theatre becomes a temple with such films. Every avatar of Lord Vishnu will be brought to the screen in the series. Producer Shilpaa Dhawan says it’s her personal desire to do the series. If Marvel Comics characters can take larger than life roles in films, so should the good deed Gods and their avatars from Indian religion and mythology. She feels children and audience at large will begin to appreciate and event love avatars like Narsimha Dev, Varaha Dev, etc. Mahavatar Narsimha is directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films. The film will also be released in 3D in five Indian languages on July 25, 2025. Hombale Films and Kleem Productions have unveiled the line-up of the animated franchise over a decade of the seven avatars of Lord Vishnu: Mahavatar Narsimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037).
